2000 (Memorial Stadium - Mesquite, Texas)

Poteet Pirates - 27 vs. Ennis Lions - 19
The Pirate defense never allowed the #1 ranked Lions to get going. Ennis, however, went on to win the 4A State Championship.

Allen Eagles - 28 vs. North Mesquite Stallions - 14
Allen jumped out to a 28-0 lead via the deep passing game, and a dominant defense.

Lewisville Farmers - 14 vs. Mesquite Skeeters - 10
A defensive gem between two of the most physical teams in the Metroplex.





2001 (Memorial Stadium - Mesquite, Texas)

Ennis Lions - 31 vs. Poteet Pirates - 14
The Lions offense made big plays via the pass and run. Ennis went on to win a second straight 4A State Championship.

Allen Eagles - 19 vs. North Mesquite Stallions - 16
North Mesquite scored with just over a minute to go, but Allen hit a deep TD pass with just seconds remaining.

Mesquite Skeeters - 27 vs. Lewisville Farmers - 21 - IN OVERTIME
Lewisville came back to tie the game late and send it into OT before losing. Mesquite went on to win the 5A State Championship.





2002 (Ford Stadium - Dallas, Texas)

Garland Owls - 48 vs. DeSoto Eagles - 16
Garland used a dominating running game to put the game out of reach early.

Highland Park Scots - 55 vs. Stephenville Yellow Jackets - 42
A true offensive fireworks show. The two teams combined for almost 1,000 yards of offense.





2003 (Ford Stadium - Dallas, Texas)

DeSoto Eagles - 28 vs. Garland Owls - 12
DeSoto came #1 ranked, and scored all 28 points in the second half to pull away from the Owls.

Highland Park Scots - 45 vs. Stephenville Yellow Jackets - 27
Sophomore QB Matt Stafford came off the bench and threw 3 touchdown passes to lead the Scots to victory.





2004 (Ford Stadium - Dallas, Texas)

Allen Eagles - 31 vs. Mesquite Skeeters - 13
A 55-yard pass on the first play foreshadowed Allen's near perfect first half that concluded in a 24-0 halftime lead.

Denton Ryan Raiders - 21 vs. Highland Park Scots - 18
Senior quarterback Justin Willis threw for two TD's and ran for another as #2 in 5A beat #1 in 4A.





2005 (Ford Stadium - Dallas, Texas)

Allen Eagles - 12 vs. Mesquite Skeeters - 10
A defensive battle that wasn't decided until the final play when Mesquite couldn't stop the clock for a 37-yard field goal attempt.

Highland Park Scots - 40 vs. Denton Ryan Raiders - 14
Highland Park began their climb to the 4A State Championship with a dominating second half performance.





2006 (Ford Stadium - Dallas, Texas)

Garland Owls - 38 vs. Allen Eagles - 35
This offensive show produced almost 700 yards of offense, but it was Mladen Bjelica who won it with a 27-yd. FG on the last play.

Highland Park Scots - 59 vs. Waxahachie Indians - 23
The Scots began defense of their 2005 State Championship by setting a Tom Landry Classic scoring record.





2007 (Texas Stadium - Irving, Texas)

Allen Eagles - 21 vs. Garland Owls - 15
The Eagles returned Garland's first pass for a TD, and the offense showed big play capability with TD passes of 55 and 70.

Highland Park - 35 vs. Waxahachie - 13
The Scots needed just four offensive plays and a punt return to take a 19-0 first quarter lead, and cruised to a decisive victory.





2008 (Ford Stadium - Dallas, Texas)

Carroll Dragons - 35 vs. Plano West Wolves - 9
The Dragon defense was dominant all day, including a Tom Landry Classic record 55-yard interception return by Justin Agnew.

Highland Park - 45 vs. Red Oak - 26
Luke Woodley made his varsity debut throwing for a Tom Landry Classic record 5 TD's as the Scots earned a Texas high school record 700th win.
