This hard-hitting free agent from the University of Tennessee earned a spot on the Cowboys '83 roster as a defensive back. In his very first season, Bill was selected as the Special Teams Player of the Year and single handedly forced the NFL to create a new position in the Pro Bowl for `Special Teams Player.` He was also a member of the '92, '93 and '95 Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Championship teams. He played 15 years in the NFL as a Cowboy which is a franchise record.
