– Legendary Cowboy quarterback and North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee Chairman Roger Staubach was on hand at the opening of the Alcatel-Lucent Executive Briefing Center. His presentation focused on innovation and how that played into North Texas’ plans for Super Bowl 2011.
– The Columbia Touchdown Club hires former New England Patriots legendary lineman John Hannah for their luncheon keynote. A graduate of Alabama, event will coincide with the USC-Alabama collegiate football match-up.
– To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Addison’s Kaboom Town, a consumer sweepstakes promotion took place market wide at Albertson locations where one lucky winner was selected to have twenty five of their closest friends attend a private barbeque with former Cowboys great Drew Pearson.
– Cathie Looney spoke on the impact of generational differences on sustainability at the PepsiCo Global Operations Environmental Sustainability Summit.
– PPI secured Washington Redskin great running back John Riggins as the Grand Sports Marshal for the 83rd Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester Virginia.
– In honor of the men and women who serve in our armed forces, Drew Pearson worked with the Town of Addison and Albertsons to promote Silver for Service, benefiting the USO. Cash donations and new children’s books were accepted at DFW Albertsons. To kick off this program, Pearson conducted a two hour reading event for area youth.
– Through the combined efforts of PPI Marketing and the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee, Cadillac has signed on to underwrite the Slant 45 documentary premiere party which benefits this worthwhile community outreach program.
– Robyn Benincasa, world class tri-athlete, champion eco-challenge racer, and San Diego firefighter spoke to a group from Frito Lay on the keys to developing successful partnerships and teamwork.
– PPI developed a consumer sweepstakes for Albertsons grocery chain to drive traffic in their stores. Winners from Texas and Louisiana will enjoy a VIP experience at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement to see Emmitt Smith from the Cowboys and Ricky Jackson from the Saints inducted into the Hall of Fame.
– Dave Magee, recognized as one of the top professional card technicians and mentalists in the world, recently entertained attendees at the Frito Lay Contract Manufacturing Annual Meeting.
– Game show host icon Bob Eubanks highlighted the Grapevine Heritage Foundation Gala with memories from his storied career and topped off the evening hosting a hilarious Not So Newlywed Game made up of couples from the audience.
– Paul Teutel, Sr., founder of the world’s most famous bike-building business, Orange County Choppers, recently released his new book The Ride of a Lifetime, which outlines his nuts and bolts approach to running a successful business.
– PPI is actively selling Sponsorships for all events that take place in the Town of Addison. On the event calendar is The Addison Summer Series: Three Months of Summer Fun. This series includes Cinema in the Circle, Symphonic Saturdays, Kaboom Town! July Jazz and Summer Salsa.
– World Cup Downhill Champion Cary Mullen delivered the motivational keynote at Advocare’s National Success School and shared his secrets to winning in life and in business.
– PPI has been selected to serve on the North Texas Super Bowl Committee and will be represented by Ward Eastman, our VP of Strategic Alliances. PPI is excited to be part of the team that will help spotlight the North Texas Region with Super Bowl XLV.
– PPI assisted Upper Deck with licensing for card set featuring over 50 members from America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys. This collectible card set is scheduled to hit stores this fall.
– Rob Roy Industries associates experienced teamwork through an innovative bike building program. Team members were given tools and bike parts and together had to problem solve and improvise, in order to build bikes with limited information. End result…one of the most effective team building exercises in the corporate America today. PPI has Gallo Wines scheduled for the next Bike Building Adventure.
– Tim Brown, one of the NFL’s most prolific wide receivers and Oakland Raider standout was in LA to tape a segment of the popular TV series Pros vs Joes which features former professional athletes in competitions with regular Joes. The segment will air this fall on Spike TV.
– Drew Pearson, Dallas Cowboy famed receiver known for his legendary “Hail Mary” catch from Roger Staubach traveled to Florence, Alabama to serve as keynote speaker for Mars Hill Bible School’s Annual Benefit dinner. Past speakers include: Truett Cathy, Jack Kemp, Jim Lovell, Archie Manning and Zig Ziglar.
– The winningest coach in NFL history and successful restaurateur, Coach Don Shula teams up with Gourmet Garden Herbs and Spices for a Super Bowl Satellite Media Tour.
– PPI planned and helped host the fourth annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Super Bowl Luncheon at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa. Corporate guests attending this NFL Sanctioned Event had the opportunity to meet a number of Hall of Famers including Roger Staubach, Thurman Thomas, Bob Griese, Lee Roy Selmon, John Hannah, Merlin Olsen and Anthony Munoz.
– HealthMarkets wrapped up 2008 with a conference in December featuring Mike Ditka and Joe Theismann. Mike presented his thoughts on leadership early in the week to HealthMarkets' regional management and Joe Theismann ended the week with his energetic presentation to an audience of 2000 agents. PPI Marketing also booked Generational Differences speaker Cathie Looney to entertain and educate at their spouses program.
– PPI and HBO partnered to kick off the premiere of HARDKNOCKS, Training Camp with the Dallas Cowboys at the Gaylord Texan. This exclusive event featured Cowboy greats Tony Dorsett, Drew Pearson, Daryl Johnston, Randy White and Jay Novacek. In addition to HBO show viewing, players were on hand to sign autographs and meet and greet with VIP attendees.
– PPI secured Lionel Ritchie to entertain customers of Caterpillar Global Mining at a private performance during the recent Mining Expo in Las Vegas. Ritchie also attended a meet & greet reception prior to his performance.
