The Joe Avezzano Ladies Locker Room Series of cocktails, dinner, and football talk for ladies will kick off a series of five events with a BBQ-Pool Party at Brookhaven Country in July. PPI is handling the production, sponsorships, and media relations for the events.
The Cadillac Spirit of Texas Campaign honored the Ron Springs-Everson Walls Gift of Life Foundation on WFAA during the month of February. Throughout 2011, PPI and Cadillac will highlight the community involvement of local celebrities and athletes in a series on-site events and radio, television, and social media promotional announcements.
PPI is working with The Tower Club to present the Idol Stars Series featuring American Idol Champions, Jordan Sparks and Rubin Studdard, in two intimate evenings of entertainment. Sparks will open the series on April 29th at a member-guest evening at Tower Club on the forty-eighth floor of Thanksgiving Tower.
PPI will co-host the Rachel's Challenge Rally at Pizza Hut Park on May 5th. More than 20,000 North Texas students will come together to package over 1.5 million meals to be distributed to needy families in the US, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. In addition canned goods will be collected and distributed to the North Texas Food Banks.
PPI coordinated the Pro Football Hall of Fame Merlin Olsen Luncheon at Super Bowl XLV. The sixth annual event was a great success, with 275 guests having the chance to mingle with 25 members of the Hall of Fame, including special honoree Bob Lilly from the Dallas Cowboys.
PPI booked Sesame Street's Gordon and Maria for the opening of the LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, where they served as television hosts for the parade, read to the children and participated in other festivities.

HealthMarkets wrapped up 2008 with a conference in December featuring Mike Ditka and Joe Theismann. PPI and HBO partnered to kick off the premiere of HARDKNOCKS, Training Camp with the Dallas Cowboys at the Gaylord Texan. This exclusive event featured Cowboy greats Tony Dorsett, Drew Pearson, Daryl Johnston, Randy White and Jay Novacek. In addition to HBO show viewing, players were on hand to sign autographs and meet and greet with VIP attendees.
PPI secured Lionel Ritchie to entertain customers of Caterpillar Global Mining at a private performance during the recent Mining Expo in Las Vegas. Ritchie also attended a meet & greet reception prior to his performance.
